De Jesus tops ABC President’s finals
MANILA, Philippines - Past president Romi de Jesus of Boysen Knoxout rolled 229 to beat Boyet Libiran (224) in the ABC Architects Bowling Club events and rule the ABC President’s finals at E Lanes Center in Greenhills, San Juan last week.
Boy Roldan of Steeltech scored 200, Sonny Esguerra of Concrete Ventures had 181 and Buddy Segui of Duraflex THW Wires turned in a 180 to finish third, fourth and fifth, respectively.
Philflex Wires and Cables top bet Manny Padit assembled a six-game series of 1275 to defeat Francis Figuracion of Crown Pipes Supreme by two pins to capture the Presidents Cup crown. Randy Poon of Duraflex TH Wires rolled a 1248 for third while Eugene Ferarris of HCG Phils. had 1232 and Boyet Libiran of American Cables made 1226 to place fourth and fifth, respectively.
The tournament, backed by ABC Phils., Atlanta Pipes, JS Alvarez Elect. Contractor, Emerald Pipes, Firefly-Royu, Boysen Perlecente/Acrytex/Healthy Homes/Wallguard, We Konstruct, Moldex Pipes, Colorsteel, Duraflex TW/THHN Wires, Nation Paints and La Vida Verde, resumes at 7 tonight with the holding of the Corporate Cup championship, also at E Lanes.
