Belarmiño still fastest gun alive

Philippine National Police Supt. Benjamin Belarmiño captured the second Chief PNP Hermogenes Ebdane Jr. Cup (All Steel) shooting championship at Mandaue Shooters Club Firing Range in Mandaue City.

Metro Manila police chief Deputy Director General Reynaldo Velasco awarded the championship trophy to Belarmiño, who bested 250 shooters.

Belarmino, the PNP-CALABARZON area chief of Regional Operation and Planning Office and a member of Philippine team to the 13th World Shootfest in South Africa, garnered 312.66 points, while Chief Inspector Mike Hernandez finished second in the Standard Division.

Last year, Belarmiño topped the Abelardo and Elias Miranda’s Cup in San Fernando City, the Nene Aguilar Shooting Competition in Las Piñas and Mindanao leg of the Philippine Practical Shooting Association (PPSA) national championship in Davao City, Northern and Central Luzon Area IV Championship Practical Shooting Competition.
