MANILA, Philippines — Ayala Land (ALI) continues to strengthen collaborations with strategic partners who share the same vision of transforming its integrated mixed-use estates into thriving growth centers.

A 15-year long-term lease contract has been signed with MerryMart to build standalone, full-sized, eco-friendly supermarkets in Nuvali Laguna and Cresendo Tarlac.

MerryMart will introduce its new format intended for locations in sprawling horizontal communities. These full-sized supermarkets will be designed to complement the eco-friendly lifestyle these ALI estates foster, with building features such as roof solar panels, LED lighting fixtures, bicycle slots and electric car charging provisions.

The Nuvali branch will have about 2,200 square meters and the Cresendo branch will have about 2,100 square meters. These branches will carry its full line of Grocery, Pharmacy, Personal care and other basic essential products.

“The MerryMart Group is glad to have the opportunity to soon serve and delight consumers around the vast community developments of Ayala Land in Nuvali and Cresendo” shared MerryMart Chairman Edgar Injap Sia II.

Nuvali is Ayala Land’s 2,290-hectare estate development located in Sta. Rosa and Calamba Laguna, currently ALI’s largest estate. The estate is currently home to more than 20,000 residents, workers and student base with 25 villages, schools, IT park, retail complex, hospital and recreational attractions.

Cresendo, on the other hand, is ALI’s commercial and lifestyle development in Tarlac that will soon comprise a commercial district, Don Bosco Campus, a church, town plaza, residential developments, open spaces and an industrial park.
