Topnotch dermatologist and cosmetic surgeon, Dr. Vicki Belo, has opened her first overseas clinic in Los Angeles, California. Located on North Central Avenue in Glendale, the Belo Skin Care clinic will carry the same non-surgical procedures that the multi-awarded Belo Medical Group offers in the Philippines such as facials and peels, Botox and fillers, hair removal, skin whitening and smoothening treatments. The “Doctor to the Stars” will visit the Glendale clinic every two months as she entrusts the clinic to the able hands of operations manager Ron Cayetano, medical director Dr. Eli Alegado and managing partner Anna Co Puno. At the grand opening, renowned composer and record producer David Foster and his beautiful fiancée Dutch model Yolanda Hadid, Lally Aldeguer, Star Entertainment editor Ricky Lo, “Asia’s Nightingale” Lani Misalucha, who flew in from Las Vegas, and other guests were entertained by award-winning singers Gary Valenciano and Martin Nievera. For the multi-awarded Belo Medical Group, it would only be a matter of time before it conquers Hollywood!

An evening of beauty and grace

 From being a journalist of a popular television show to becoming the Cosmetic Queen of the Middle Kingdom, Yue Sai Kan, one of the most prominent personalities in China, has further elevated her remarkable career by taking on a new role: the national director of the Miss Universe contest in China appointed by no less than American business magnate Donald Trump. Recently, Yue invited good friends from Manila including timeless beauties Star columnist Mayenne Carmona and Sacred Heart Academy founder Jojo Zabarte to the coronation of the Miss Universe China 2011 in Beijing. A fleet of world-class Mercedes Benzes brought guests to the stunning red carpet event at the MasterCard Auditorium. After the pageant, guests enjoyed the spectacular After Glow party filled with great vibes and sparkling Chateau Margaux drinks.
