WATCH: Dividers installed at Senate plenary hall for reopening

MANILA, Philippines — Transparent dividers were installed at the Senate plenary hall as a safety precaution amid the ongoing novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
Apart from using the dividers, the 17 senators physically present at the opening of the second regular session of the 18th Congress on Monday were also wearing face masks and face shields.
President Rodrigo Duterte is set to deliver his fifth State of the Nation Address this afternoon at the Batasan Pambansa.
