P5-M shabu seized in Cagayan

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines – A shipment of shabu with an estimated street value of P5 million was seized by agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency and policemen in a passenger bus in Barangay Libertad, Abulug, Cagayan on Tuesday.

Francisco Torres, who was found carrying 1,000 grams of shabu wrapped in a plastic bag, was arrested, PDEA Cagayan Valley director Juvenal Azurin said.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
