Teen stabs brother to death

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines – A 13-year-old boy admitted to fatally stabbing his elder brother in the remote mountain village of Cordon, Kasibu, Nueva Vizcaya, reports reaching the Cagayan Valley Police Office said yesterday.

Police identified the victim as Ritchell Mayo, 25, a farmer and resident of the said place.

Investigation showed that Mayo arrived home drunk Sunday night armed with a knife and beat up his teenage brother, who was sleeping.

A fight ensued until the teenager was able to grapple for possession of the knife and stabbed his elder sibling.

Police said the suspect confessed the incident to his uncle.
