Jessica Sanchez wants Sofronio Vasquez, other Filipino collaborations for planned EP

MANILA, Philippines — Filipino-American singer Jessica Sanchez is planning to make an extended play with Tagalog songs and is on the lookout for artists to collaborate with.
Jessica is back in the Philippines for her upcoming solo concert this May 16 at the Araneta Coliseum featuring a star-studded line-up: Regine Velasquez, Gary Valenciano, Martin Nievera, James Reid, Morissette Amon, Darren Espanto and Vice Ganda.
Last weekend, Jessica appeared on "It's Showtime" with Vice, "Vibe" with Morissette, and "ASAP XP" where she performed with Sofronio Vasquez.
Sofronio is the first Asian winner of the talent competition series "The Voice US." Meanwhile, Jessica late last year won the 20th season of another competition show "America's Got Talent."
During a media conference last May 11 for her upcoming performance, Jessica was asked about her brief collaboration with Sofronio and her thoughts on Filipino artists continuing to shine globally.
