Vice Ganda joins Jessica Sanchez's star-studded comeback concert

MANILA, Philippines — Filipino-American singer Jessica Sanchez isn't done with the surprises for her comeback Philippine concert later this month.
Show promoter Wilbros Live announced that host-comedian Vice Ganda would be appearing at the "America's Got Talent" winner's May 16 concert at the Araneta Coliseum.
The "It's Showtime" host joins previously confirmed guests Regine Velasquez, Gary Valenciano, Martin Nievera, James Reid, Morissette Amon, and Darren Espanto.
Jessica and Morissette just collaborated on the single "Stronger Than Before" released last May 1 and will very likely perform their collaboration song at the show.
The song might also appear on Jessica's upcoming album, which will come out on May 8.
The upcoming album is Jessica's first studio album since her debut release "Me, You & the Music" in 2013, a year after her runner-up finish on "American Idol" Season 11. The Filipino-American singer released two Christmas-themed extended plays in between the years prior to her upcoming album.
The May 16 concert will be Jessica's first solo show in the Philippines since November 2019. She was included in lineups of several concerts in the past years, including a yearend show last December.
Jessica rose to fame as a contestant on the first season of "America's Got Talent" as a 10-year-old, just missing the cut for the grand finals.
She returned two decades later for the show's 20th season, winning the competition within weeks of giving birth to her first child with husband Rickie Gallardo.
