MANILA, Philippines - There has been an anti-sexy movement rustling, undetected until now, among the curve-hugging fashion options in the market. It’s called Dotcomme, a new online shopping site created by Cecile Zamora-Van Straten, designer Patrice Ramos-Diaz, and Penny Ong. Their concept is evident in their personal styles. “We have the same taste and wanted to introduce an online shop that we all like. We’re all like tomboys, we’re not sweet, and we’re not into sexy,” says Cecile, who is the company’s creative director. The website will be selling items that reflect this particular style, curating pieces from Rita Nazareno and Yodel Pe, other local designers and imported brands. Dotcomme.ph will launch soon. “Perhaps after retrograde,” says Cecile. Retrograde is over today (thank your lucky stars), so we can expect Dotcomme.ph to be clickable very soon.
