Age against the machine

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Fashion, being an art and business obsessed with all things new and fresh, is the antidote to age. This is why at Cutting Age, an event that YStyle has produced in partnership with Olay, fashion shared the spotlight with four age-defying muses — Camille Co who is in her fearless 20s, Nikki Gil who is rediscovering herself in her late 20s, Mikee Cojuangco-Jaworski who represents women achievers in their 30s, and Mandy Santos, who shows the power that comes with being in one’s 40s. These four women are also the stars of Olay’s new series of webisodes as the brand’s newest faces — a title they’ve earned by staying youthful and current achievers who are proud of their age.

Proudrace, Milka Quin, Maureen Disini and Martin Bautista created capsule collections inspired by these four women and unveiled them at Cutting Age, inspiring a room full of fashionable individuals to keep defying age by just staying awesome. Age matters, because every decade is a chapter waiting to be written and with each one, new wardrobe possibilities are waiting to be discovered.
