MANILA, Philippines - Fashion is always on the lookout for the next visionary who will forever change its landscape. Mega magazine echoes this sentiment — discovering young designers who become institutions in their own right through the Mega Young Designers Competiton. Rajo Laurel, Gian Romano, Aries Lagat, Mich Dulce, Ivarluski Aseron, and Alex Pigao are but only a few of the many designers who have had their start through this prestigious event.

For the 9th edition of the Mega Young Designers Competition, Mega magazine is proud to announce that it will host a go-see this Aug. 11 at Members Only. Interested applicants must present two works (formal and casual wear) and an essay, all reflective of the theme, “Proud to be Me.” Other details and requirements — including the application form — are available at the Mega website (mega-magazine.com).
