“A Christmas Story” surely proved to be a great event. The ladies looked like small packages minus the huge bows and frills. They were all lovely in short and mid-calf dresses. Some of the dresses came in subdued colors — very sophisticated and never overpowering. The others opted for bright cheery colors such as pink, orange and red. They also carried little clutches for their essentials.   

Privileged Globe Platinum members were invited for an exclusive Rajo Laurel fashion show called “A Christmas Story.” The collection presented holiday pieces inspired by Rajo’s own Christmas past, present and visions for the future. The pre-holiday celebrations at the Makati Shangri-La were Globe Platinum’s way of expressing its gratitude for the support and patronage of its subscribers.

Emillie’s top is from Soulier by Mel, her shoes by Charles & Keith and her accessories by Pinctada. Her look is “bubbly Japanese chic.”

Hazel Noriega

Hazel wears a dress by Roland Lirio of Sari-Sari and earrings from her mother. The gold and bronze handbag is matched with bronze and silver strap sandals. She opts to look simple but very classy, using metallic colors in a subtle way.

Kath Gomez

Kath wears a magenta F&H frock with black gem details and black patent shoes with sculpted wedges. Diamond earrings are her only accessories. Her outfit is Grecian inspired.

Teeffany wears a Calvin Klein silver strapless dress with a vintage Ferragamo purse and silver Jimmy Choo heels. Her look is a mix of modern and vintage.

Katrina Tioseco

Katrina wears a Tyler dress and carries a vintage Dior bag. Rough-cut diamond-studded earrings and a Charriol timepiece are her accessories.

Walking on the mood

Guests were definitely on a high as they partied the night away wearing the most stylish clothes. The ladies chose to keep it short and simple while some wore pants for comfort. Their accessories were just a few key pieces like statement necklaces. The ladies also wore to-die-for shoes such as black leather boots and strappy stilettos. The ladies also carried small clutches or none at all, the better to show off their exquisite timepieces.
