Beauty and the beach

Boracay, the premier summer destination, was recently invaded by prints. Smart packers and seasoned travelers, these ladies armed themselves with flowing and printed dresses made from light materials. Florals were a safe summer pick. Geometric and swirly designs were also dominant among the stylish bunch. The ladies wore minimal accessories — just enough bangles and neckpieces to add a bit of flair to their outfits.  Small clutches and sling bags were the obvious choice to hold party essentials. 

Without a doubt, Nokia Express Music, together with Big Fish, knows how to throw a beach party. Fiercer than ever before, Fierce Angels invaded the island. Not wanting to be left out, diehard Big Fish fans from Manila flocked to Boracay to participate in the revelry. Seeing the special guest alone, Lady Victoria, who looked twice as fierce playing the saxophone in her black bikini and mesh cover-up, was enough. DJs Craig McGivern and Johnboy Lee were also present to participate in the summer celebration.

Corrine Risos

Corrine Risos of Nokia wears a long dress from Mango that she bought in Spain. She says long dresses are fashionable now, even on the beach. The materials are lightweight and flimsy. To complete the tropical look she wears white Havaianas, dangling earrings to match, a bangle from her own collection and a banig purse.

Rachelle Miranda

Rachelle is wearing a striped halter dress, which she bought from a bazaar at St. Francis Square; her slippers are from Ipanema. She accessorizes with white capiz shell earrings from Glorietta, red cellphone chains from Girl Shop to match her pink-edition Nokia N73 handset and a gold and black polka-dot pouch bag.

Francesca wears a John Paras dress with earrings for a simple look this summer. She opts for floral dresses and whatever’s comfortable to wear.

Bevy Capul

Bevy wears a dress from People are People, flip-flops from Havaianas, pearl earrings, a bracelet from the market and a pouch from Gucci. Her style is spontaneous yet comfortable.

Ronna wears a silk green spaghetti-strap dress from Nothing But Water; while the silver bracelets are from UK to match her ring. Her look is casual, laid-back and sexy.
