Tourism Quiz Bee champ

MANILA, Philippines - A Tourism student of the Lyceum of the Philippines University (LPU)-Manila campus was proclaimed the grand champion in the PHILTOA (Philippine Tour Operators Association) Tourism Quiz Bee during the recent 24th Philippine Travel Mart at the SMX Convention Center. Lorraine Mae Padilla, a fourth year student, bested 40 other contestants from different universities in the country. Padilla was mentored by her professors from LPU’s College of International Tourism and Hospitality Management, Dr. Enrico Cruzada and Sally Limgenco. Another Tourism student, Laryiel Aguirre, was bagged the second runner-up trophy in the Bituin Ng Kasuotang Pinoy, Male Category, in his Filipino costume made of indigenous materials and designed by his classmates, Nicole Anievas and Ruby Ann Reyes.
