One Pacific offers Mongolian buffet

Lester Gopela Hallig - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - One Pacific Place Serviced Residences’ Strand Café, located along Buendia Avenue in Salcedo Village, Makati City, has found a sure-fire way to chase the rainy-day blues away. With its Mongolian buffet dinner promo all July, the Strand Café is offering value-for-money meals in a most relaxing setting — indeed good news to those who would rather wait for the Central Business District’s rainy rush hour to subside.

From our part, we say: rain or no rain, traffic or no traffic, the Strand Café’s Mongolian buffet dinner is something not to be missed. For only P299 net, diners get to enjoy hot, delicious, and satisfying bowlfuls of flavorful Mongolian delights to their hearts’ desires.

“The Mongolian buffet dinner is on from 6 to 9 p.m., Monday to Sunday,” says One Pacific Place general manager Eric Bernie Corpus. “We are providing the perfect place for those who are in no mood to beat the rush hour. There is no other place so close to our major corporations where such a buffet is offered.”

Corpus says that when the Strand Café served Mongolian fare last April, it became such a huge success that it seemed a sensible choice to make an encore. “We observed that our Mongolian spread was a fast mover, a runaway hit that deserved another longer run. We received nothing but positive feedback from our guests as well as an encouraging number of walk-in diners.”

The Mongolian buffet dinner comes on the heels of another successful spread, the Pinoy Fiesta buffet lunch. “We are glad that one clicked,” Corpus says. Well, if all this is any indication, it looks like the Strand Café, located at the ground floor of One Pacific, is headed toward becoming the hottest buffet spot in its area.

For the foodies who prefer dining in broad daylight, then the Strand’s Oriental buffet lunch is the one. Beginning July 1, the lunch crowd gets to treat themselves to a sumptuous Asian smorgasbord at P499 net per person, from Mondays to Fridays, except on holidays.

While one is at it, why not opt to stay in? Now is a great time to do so with One Pacific Place’s Rain Drop Rate Drops, a rainy-day room promo that offers rates for as low as P2,600 for a studio room. With this package, guests can use the gym and the pool and enjoy free Wi-Fi access, and welcome drinks for two persons. Talk about flooding guests with great value.

So come over and check out the Strand Café for breakfast, lunch, snacks or dinner. It is open from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. every day. For those who want to check out the other menu offerings, ala carte is also served.
