Radisson Blu Hotel Cebu marks 1st year
MANILA, Philippines - Radisson Blu Hotel Cebu, the first Radisson Blu in the Asia-Pacific, turned one-year-old recently and hosted a Cotton Club-inspired revelry attended by Cebu’s business leaders, socialites and media personalities.
As a prelude to the grand first year celebration and to formally open the holiday season, the event kicked off with the ceremonial lighting of the magnificent blue-and-white, 20-foot Christmas tree at the hotel’s lobby, ushered by a medley of Christmas songs from the Radisson Choir.
With art deco motif, the ballroom was transformed into a posh Cotton Club with female guests gamely clad in flapper costumes, feather boas and stunning headdresses, and men in fedora hats and brogue shoes.
The gala highlighted Radisson Blu Cebu Hotel’s accomplishments, including being one of the leading hotels in the Philippines.
