MANILA, Philippines - Republiq, in cooperation with Chivas and Smart, celebrated its second anniversary last September 20 with a Great Gatsby-inspired 1920s theme.
All guests dressed up as the Republiq resident DJ Marc Naval kicked off with a 1920s-inspired set. Special performances by Markki Stroem, Kiana Valenciano, Monique Delos Santos, Jett Pangan, Aj Tablado rocked the venue, ending with a set by mash-up guru DJ Funk Avy and the Sonata Strings Orchestra.
A champagne sparklers parade caught the attention of guests as Tim Yap led the toast together with Jon Herrera, Chef Fernando Aracama and Erik Cua to officially toast the second anniversary of Republiq, and the announcement of the Cabana Club opening this December 2012. People danced away as Republiq’s resident DJs Ace Ramos, Mars Miranda and Martin Pulgar completed the line-up.
