Byaheng Victory treks the Philippines' third highest peak

-

MANILA, Philippines - On May 12 to 13, Byaheng Victory is set t to trek Luzon’s highest peak and the country’s third highest mountain – Mount Pulag. More than fate that led them to meet their fellow backpackers and outdoor lovers, participants of the Byaheng Victory Mt. Pulag Trek are all tied in one aim: to satisfy their thirst for adventure.

Mt. Pulag is in many Filipino and even other international mountaineers’ bucket list. Standing at 2,922 meters above sea level, this famous mountain is also home to the nation’s endangered species of flora and fauna and to some of North Luzon’s ethnic tribes such as the Ibanags, Ibalois, Kalanguyas, and Kankana-eys.

A DENR office is located along the trail, just a few meters away from the park’s entrance. From there, the base camp is a four-kilometer hike with well-paved trails for the convenience of mountaineers. There are waiting sheds too which offer fitting rest stop to mountain climbers. The summit may be reached in an hour and a half.

Byaheng Victory is a series of group tours initiated by the nation’s premier bus transportation company, Victory Liner. In partnership with Travel Factor, one of the biggest adventure tour providers in the country, Byaheng Victory promotes a taste of unusual and incomparable destinations reached by Victory Liner.
