What's your Christmas wish?
My Christmas wish is for P-Noy to succeed in giving our countrymen a better future. That every Filipino will stop looking back with regret and instead with gratitude for the blessings that we have received. That we will think less of ourselves and move towards a common goal, which is to give a better life to our countrymen who have less in life. Christmas is a time to forgive and to look forward to the new year with so much hope and dreams just waiting for us to fulfill.

On a personal level, good health for our baby and a trouble-free delivery. On a larger scale, that Filipino children get the attention they need in terms of education, health, love and affection and the right opportunities.

This Christmas, I’d love to receive more coffee-table books on fashion, arts and photography from which I’ll surely be able to pick inspiration and ideas for my 2011 collection! These also never fail to be good conversation pieces and reference materials in my studio.

Every year, our family goes out of town for a short break and this year, the kids chose to go to Korea. So my Christmas wish is for peace between the North and South Koreas, especially while we’re visiting!

That no matter where my work takes me, my wish is that I spend each and every Christmas for the rest of my life with my son Miguel, and that he will always remember all the wonderful places, sights and tastes of all the Christmases he spent as a kid with his mom!

This Christmas, I wish God would grant me the gift of understanding to know what is real and true. More so, I wish God would grant me the grace to forgive. Let us not forget, too, to thank God for sending us his son on this special day.
