Heart Evangelista sells pre-loved pieces from her closet
MANILA, Philippines — Heart Evangelista’s held a closet party with fans and shoppers buying her pre-loved and brand-new pieces from her collection.
The event featured items from Heart and her friends’ closets, including high-end luxury pieces and local fashion finds that she had worn once. There were pieces that were as low as P200, and there were also those that went up to P50,000.
“Lahat ‘to, it’s not just for me. It’s also for my friends who are selling their items. For me, every item is worth something, so marami akong memories d’un. Bittersweet siya, but it gives happiness to others, so nakakatuwa,” she wrote on Instagram.
“‘Yung iba sa gamit dito, noong 15 years old pa lang ako. Never pa akong nag-grand sale nang todo kasi wala akong time. So inunti-unti ko siya, and noong binuksan ko ang isa kong box, ang dami [pang items]. I was able to put together a good team of people who helped me with the pricing and allocation. Nakakatuwa na nagustuhan siya,” she added.
High-end luxury items also sold out quickly, particularly designer bags, which were immediately targeted by Heart's social and high-profile fans.
The scene was also entertaining because even the well-dressed and social shoppers were game for the "mine" culture as they competed for what they wanted to buy.
There was even an impromptu “Styled by Heart” moment when Heart personally arranged some items and did a live-selling style with the crowd.
The actress was also hands-on throughout the event. She herself double-checked the items, took selfies with attendees, and even signed some of the merchandise fans purchased.
