MANILA, Philippines - Building on the success of its 2View technology and in response to evolving consumer demands in the segment for maximum flexibility, enjoyment and creativity, Samsung Philippines recently launched its latest digital camera with the Samsung MultiView MV800 Mirror Pop at Robot Restaurant last November 4.

Invited to the launch were the country’s most influential bloggers as well as the media who were each given the opportunity to test drive the 16-Megapixel MultiView MV800’s 3.0-inch Wide Flip-out Display.

Stationed in three different photo-wall stations, guests took their turns taking their most creative photos complete with a wide array of costumes with the 3.0-inch Wide Flip-out Display set to 30-degrees, 120-degrees, and 180-degrees.

The third photo-wall station had an added treat for the guest who included the most number of Samsung logos into their self-portrait with the camera’s Wide Flip-out Display set to 180-degrees. Putting to work both the 26-mm wide-angle lens and the 3.0-inch Wide Flip-out Display, the winner took home her own MultiView MV800 Mirror Pop camera.

Samsung’s ultra slim and stylish MV800 boasts enhanced picture quality, touch screen technology, as well as many innovative and user-friendly features that will allow users a relaxed and enjoyable shooting experience even for the most challenging images.

Five more participants were also given a chance to take home one MultiView MV800 Mirror Pop camera in an impromptu photo contest of dance performers simulating some of the challenging photographing situations the MV800 handles with ease. The winner HWM magazine editor Lionell Macahilig, who was seated in one spot throughout the whole performance, managed to take a wide array of shots, including low-angle, high-angle, and self portrait shots with the performers in the background without breaking a sweat.

The ultra slim and stylish MV800 boasts enhanced picture quality, touch screen technology, as well as many innovative and user-friendly features that will allow users a relaxed and enjoyable shooting experience even for the most challenging images.

Along with other special features such as Live Panorama, Picture-in-Picture, Smart Filter, and Smart Touch 3.0 with Wallpaper, the MV800 is an excellent proposition. HD video recording also comes standard.

Live Panorama allows users to hold down the shutter and sweep across the scene to get the panoramic photo they want.

Picture-in-Picture allows for in-camera editing to include one image within another to capture the full, glorious story you want to share.
