MANILA, Philippines - Springfield will be presenting eye-opening men’s collections for the autumn/winter 2009-2010 season, featuring the exciting new Ride My Bike line and the launch of Sofing by Springfield for Men, as well as the Grunge de Luxe collection for Women.

Javier Pla, photographer and creator of the campaign images, has added a special touch of gloss to all the garments Springfield will be presenting for this winter.

For the urban Springfield man, the brand has taken its design inspiration from the new social trends: caring for the environment and the city; spending time outdoors; and engaging in an evening of fun and frolics in the city. Springfield has opted for a combination of styles reflected in the various collection lines: jeans and checks with relief knits, urban styles for active garments, country-style leathers with micro-motifs, plus combinations of colors — without forgetting those essential accessories that add a twist on the total look.

Ride My Bike and Sofing by Springfield are the new looks for the season. The first is inspired by the urban trend of eco-friendly bicycling, created to dress the active, sports-loving man. Synthetic, lightweight fabrics are ideal for cycling around the city without losing an iota of that Springfield style for guys. In turn, Sofing by Springfield features the kind of garments that the Springfield boy’s wardrobe was crying out for: a homewear line. Ultra-versatile sport styles are perfect for relaxing in at home, but a world away from those old-hat pyjamas. Trousers and shorts, T-shirts and sweatshirts are the style in soft tones brimming over with details that are pure Springfield.
