The final E-Heads set?
MANILA, Philippines - Yup, that’s how they’re billing it: “The Eraserheads Live! The Final Set!” is now set for Saturday, March 7, at the Mall of Asia Concert Grounds. Meeting the demands of fans who wanted more after their “single set” concert last year, the band have agreed to a full concert again at a new venue.
See Buddy Zabala, Ely Buendia, Marcus Adoro and Raimund Marasigan take the stage for their ultimate reunion marking their very last gig in the country. “Final gig”? According to a reliable source, Ely Buendia signed a contract stating that the March 7 concert will, indeed, be the band’s last performance in the Philippines as the E-heads for the next 10 years. So for the loyal fans, this final set represents a chapter of history. And it’s being produced as the biggest local concert ever to blow your minds in a way only the Eraserheads can.
Celebrate the band’s music, songs that captured the spirit of the times and opened up a whole new world of Pinoy rock. Revisit the birth, with E-heads anthems like Ligaya, Pare Ko, Alapaap, Sembreak and Ang Huling El Bimbo. were anthem.
