FROM COFFEE TO COCKTAILS - Celine Lopez -
Party season is here again and it’s time to look seriously and I mean seriously fight! Keep that tan from summer and say boo-hoo to that Boho of last season. So what if you’re not royalty (most of them are ugly anyway), or you don’t have the bucks. Being fabulous, like virginity, is a state of mind. Be the light of the party, and be sure that you shine in all the right ways.

Here are a couple of inspirational looks to take you from an intimate dinner to a decadent gala. Designed by people who are inspired by the good life (i.e. martinis and etc.), spanning from Manila to Cebu – they know how to make a strobe light out a of woman. Rhett Eala, a well-loved designer who always has his party hat on, knows his stuff in making Linda Blairs out of the men who stare at his dames dressed in his gems. Anna Cruz, someone I personally think personifies and makes chic the otherwise cheesy word party girl, is the owner of Flirt which has a selection of fab outfits that can outlast and outshine even the strongest and fightest of us. Ingrid Go knows how to choke the sensibility out of men with her one-of-a-kind choker and necklace collection. Junnie Unson, designer for Sari Sari, creates remarkably modern outfits. Kate Torralba, a budding designer from Cebu, creates confections that literally swing. Tyler, a brand that has been embraced by basically the whole metropolis for its classic but exhilarating designs, takes on the 24/7 route. And, last but not the least, the once fashion design prodigy now fashion bon vivant, Mich Dulce, takes a different spin on fab, giving sexy a whole new definition.

So let’s celebrate and there’s nothing better than dancing the party season away in style!
