GOT7 gives a round of delight in ‘KEEP SPINNING’ in Manila
MANILA, Philippines — Finally making their long-awaited return to the country, GOT7 brought over a night that Filipino Ahgases would “never ever” forget for the rest of their lives as they stormed the Mall of Asia Arena last Oct. 26 with their dynamic performances as part of their massive KEEP SPINNING 2019 WORLD TOUR, which successfully granted the group a new opportunity to meet their Filipino fans years after they first visited the country.
Manila marked the last city that the group is visiting this year for their tour, which will continue in other countries next year. Performing both their classic and new hits like “Just Right,” “Eclipse,” “Page,” “Look,” “Lullaby,” “Skyway,” and more, the septet made a grand end for their 2019 as they joined their Filipino fans in making a treasure trove of memories which made the long wait to see them again more than worth it.
Filling the arena with waves of green thanks to their Ahgabongs (GOT7’s official light sticks), Ahgases in the country made sure to give the group their warmest welcome-back by bringing their cheers, screams, and excitement to a maximum - may it be for the performances of their favourite songs from the group, each member’s unit stages, or their heartfelt and energetic MENTs.
Of course, the multi-talented group expressed how overwhelmed they were by the love that fans showed them all throughout the night - which convinced them even more to aim for a return performance in the country as soon as possible.

2019 Elegant Filipinas @ Diamond Hotel
It’s been five years since the first set of elegant women were presented to the Filipino audience. Through the years Fortune Ledesma, Tina Ocampo, Zelda Kienle, TingTing Cojuangco and Diamond Hotel GM Vanessa Suatengco have been instrumental in organizing the “Elegant” occasion and supporting its charitable endeavors such as fundraising for the weavers of La Trinidad, Mt. Province, Tacloban typhoon victim employment, widows of the SAF 44 killed in Mamasapano, Maguindanao, The Center for Possibilities Foundation for Autistic children and PLDT-Smart Gabay Guro.
Given the pressing issue of climate change, the beneficiary of the Elegant Filipinas this year was the World Wide Fund Nature Philippines.
The honorees know the language of fashion and are refined, cultured and well-mannered. They command respect in their chosen field. These women who excel in various fields banded together to show their care for our common home, the Earth. Their example truly shows that elegance is not merely a matter of beauty, but also of acting on one’s principles.
