Shawarma Bros opens at BGC

MANILA, Philippines - H2004 Ventures Inc. was formed in 2012 by five Ateneo friends who wanted to undertake a food business together. Early in the planning stage, they initially wanted to franchise a buffalo wings place. However, circumstances steered them in the direction of creating their own brand with a distinctively unique selling proposition instead – cooking and selling from a Food Truck.

Initially, it wasn’t shawarma they wanted to sell but sandwiches. Their target clientele at BGC, The Fort were health enthusiasts, hungry employees and shoppers.

After doing market research, however, they felt  that  sandwiches  wouldn’t  click  with  Filipinos  because  Filipinos  love rice.  They looked at other possible cuisine options and decided on something we all love to eat – shawarma with rice. The “Shawarma Rice Plates” is now their signature product.
