A Christmas Serenade

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines – The most wonderful time of the year is near!

For one night only, be serenaded by the country’s most exquisite voices in “Once Upon a Christmas Evening” concert on Dec. 3 at The Theatre at Solaire Resort and Casino in Parañaque City.

Presented by First Pacific Leadership Academy (FPLA) of the MVP Group, the concert promises a night filled with favorite timeless ballads, OPM classics and Christmas carols by Celeste Legaspi, Basil Valdez, Rachel Alejandro, Joanna Ampil with Charice Pempengco as a special guest. Adding more magic to the rare musical gathering are the dashing crooners Sandino Martin and Markki Stroem, and The Ryan Cayabyab Singers.

The concert’s entire musical repertoire will be under the deft hand of multi-awarded maestro Ryan Cayabyab.

Once Upon a Christmas Evening is FPLA’s annual fundraising concert where all proceeds will be used to support different leadership programs and youth activities of the academy for the coming year.

The concert is also part of the Celebrating Our Gifted Heroes series, which aims to bring together great minds and talents from different fields, including arts and culture, and, of course, music. Through its special events, FPLA wishes to inspire and pave a way for our brilliant Filipino talents.

Relive the magic of Christmas through the wonderful carols and timeless tunes.

(Tickets are available at all TicketWorld outlets. For more information, call FPLA at 696-3051 local 892 or 0998-8440775.)
