Turning a year wiser definitely calls for a celebration.

For her birthday, fashionista Salome Dy treated her closest friends — including brilliant designers Rajo Laurel, Rhett Eala, Randy Ortiz and Jun Escario — to a delightfully addicting dinner at Dusit Thani Manila’s popular Japanese restaurant, UMU.

Salome took pains in making sure that the evening would be a memorable one for her guests — from personalized place cards depicting each guest with his or her favorite hobbies to UMU’s delectable and authentic Japanese dishes prepared by chefs from Osaka. The evening also saw great service from the restaurant, unique games with special prizes that guests are eager to win such as gift certificates to Stevie Villacin’s famous Hainanese Chicken and Linda Tan’s world-class spa.

At the dinner party, the talented designers also happily lent their one-of-a-kind creations to the celebrator who, in turn, had several outfit changes for a “guess-which-designer” game, but more importantly, as homage to each of them.

Leave it to Salome who surely knows how to throw a party and, with her svelte figure, instantly transforms anything she wears into head-turners.
