MANILA, Philippines - Five adorable babies and toddlers were chosen as BlueWater Day Spa’s (BWDS) image models for its highly popular baby massage treatment.

With the overwhelming response that BWDS received for its “Make Your Baby a Star” contest, the decision to name just two boys and two girls as the grand-prize winners became quite difficult. So management chose five lovable tots who will serve as the face of BWDS’ baby massage: Patricia Isabel Unicruz, three years old; Kei Anya Ballesteros, 10 months old; Andrew Quattrei Domingo, two years old; Mylie Sofia Lobrio Jones, one year old and six months; and Matthew Joseph McMahon, two years old.

The baby massage treatment, which was launched alongside another popular BWDS treatment, the pregnancy massage, back in 2011, has gained quite a following. The company attributes this to the treatments’ efficacy and affordability especially for expectant moms as well as other moms who only want the best for their children’s wellbeing. Unknown to many, children are also susceptible to stress.

BWDS’ baby and pregnancy massage treatments are just good examples of the spa’s commitment to its mission of promoting good health and wellness.

To further promote the many benefits of the baby massage treatment, BWDS recently held the Make Your Baby a Star contest through its Facebook page. The launch was held last June and was well supported by the blogging community, which also gave the treatment great reviews, prompting more moms to take notice and participate in the contest.

Aside from being BWDS image models, the winners also received other prizes like a spa party for the kids on their respective birthdays, free baby massage treatments for a year, a photo shoot with a well-known photographer and media exposure.

Mommy Sunny Rose, 29, shares that it was actually her first time to have her child, Patricia Isabel, join such a contest and was elated when her little girl actually won. “Patricia likes to sing and dance, and she was so happy when she found out she won. I hope through this experience she’ll be more confident.”

As for young mom Gretel, 23, whose first child is the incredibly cute Kei Anya, she also found out about the contest through blogs and Facebook and admits that she has already grown accustomed to people telling her to allow Kaye to model. “We were encouraged to allow our daughter to join the contest because of the positive comments of the people,” she says. She hopes that through this experience, her baby will grow up to be more confident.

Meanwhile, Mommy Sheba, 30, the proud mom of Andrew Quattrei, shares that she also saw the promotion through Facebook and wanted to have her child try it. She says Andrew likes to sing and dance. She hopes that after winning the contest, her child will build more confidence and improve his social skills.

Mommy Ana, 38, says her son Matthew, the youngest in a brood of three, enjoyed the contest. She admits that she let her son participate in some baby contests before but the prize from the BWDS is the most special ever given to her son. Aside from the exposure, Mommy Ana is also excited about the spa-party prize, which will be given to Matthew on his birthday today.

Lastly, Mommy Myra, 25, admits that she has already tried BWDS’ services as well as the baby massage for her daughter Mylie Sofia and is very happy with the results. “My daughter and I are at home at BWDS because the staff of the spa are friendly and accommodating. They are very patient with my daughter,” she says.

Truly, exciting things are up ahead for this first-ever batch of image models for BWDS’ baby massage. Watch out for them in the coming months.
