Music without borders

- Johnny Litton -

“All music comes from God.”  — Johnny Cash

Bringing fine entertainment to new levels, the five-star Marco Polo Plaza Cebu (MPPC) recently presented the latest edition of its one-of-a-kind signature event Champagne Series, entitled Music Without Borders. Hardworking MPPC GM Hans Hauri played gracious host to another splendid night of music and friendship across borders as society and corporate guests were treated to enthralling fusion of oriental classic and European melodies at the hotel’s majestic Grand Ballroom. The world-class musical evening featured the spellbinding performances of the most internationally awarded Filipino concert pianist maestro Jiovanney Cruz with brilliant father and daughter duo — maestro Ying-Kuan Hong and maestra Chi-Ying Hung from Taiwan. The one-night only concert was for the benefit of the Arts Council of Cebu Foundation, which celebrated its golden anniversary this year. Congratulations!
