A Shang Grand party

Elegance was the byword in a recent evening cocktail party of The Shang Grand Tower, the latest residential skyscraper project of the world-renowned Kuok Group. Turning out in full force was the super efficient Shang Grand Tower staff, led by dashing gentleman and super businessman Tom Zita Jr., vice chairman of the Kuok Group. Tom was assisted by Chief Finance Officer Vince Formoso, Sales Director Susan Yu and Group Comptroller Kinsun Ng.

The metro’s social trendsetters and business bigwigs were there to check out the lovely model units of the Shang Grand Tower, including financial wizard PL Lim; respected businessman Dante Go; charming couples Rey and Lea Gamboa, Allan and Shirley Ybanez; fashion plates Nini Licaros and Mary Ann Lumen; gorgeous jetsetter Lyra Rufino-Maceda who came all the way from San Francisco; former Shell president Oscar Reyes and wife Edith; Creative Response CEO Ramon Silos; Joey Syjuco; Alen Air’s Jun Lagman; and dermatologist Clare Palabyab.

Guests were in awe of the opulent rooms, from the roomy feel of the high ceilings to the classiness of the interior décor. Beautiful couple Serge and Yoli Ayson just couldn’t wait any longer. They decided to purchase a unit right then and there!

An amusing game delighted the guests as they scrambled to find multi-colored glass pebbles scattered in the model units. Those who found the lucky pebbles won prizes such as lodgings at Mactan Shangri-La Hotel in Cebu for three days and two nights; an overnight stay at Makati Shangri-La Hotel; premiere tickets to the new Shang Cineplex; and Shang Tower Shanghai Tang souvenirs.

Enchanting singer Margarita and the Stradivarius String Ensemble provided the night’s musical entertainment, while top-of-the-line chocolate treats were given away, packaged in attractive dim sum containers.
