Star Dream Girl : Ma. Patricia Dianne Medina

The 5’4" tall Ma. Patricia Dianne Medina is a 16-year-old Bachelor of Arts student at the Miriam College in Quezon City. Part-time ramp and print ad model Dianne hopes to major in Communication Arts when she becomes a sophomore.

"Since I’m into performing arts, this course fits my interests," says Dianne, the daughter of CG Inc. project manager Tito Prisco Medina and the former Vicky-Jo Perez, a former model herself and division manager of Ayala Land Corp.

Dianne has a knack for dancing, singing and acting. She is an active member of Miriam College’s CCATT Street Dance troupe and finished second level (for singing) at the Center for Pop Music, Philippines.

How does she differ from other performers? Dianne replies, "I just want to be myself. I always wish to be in my best form so I can entertain my audience well. Besides talent, I think a performer should know how to make his or her presence felt."

Dianne, whose beauty regimen consists of water for washing and cleaning, and lip gloss and light makeup, believes, "Challenges should not dampen one’s spirits; they actually test one’s positive disposition and persistence."
Dianne, who is guided by St. Theresa’s philosophy of simplicity, ends, "Valuing one’s individuality should be given utmost priority by anyone. If not, a person will have a hard time being happy and sharing happiness."–Jerry Donato
