Fairies, twinkling lights and a jolly Santa Claus! Rustan’s pulled out all the stops as it ushered in the holidays with “Once Upon A Christmas,” turning its iconic Makati store into an enchanting storybook wonderland while kicking off the countdown to its much-awaited 75th anniversary.

The festivities began on a magical high as a Christmas fairy danced her way through Rustan’s grand entrance, with dazzling decorations all aglow all. Guests and passersby were captivated by the delightful spectacle, which brought the fairytale to life. Meanwhile, a real-life Santa Claus was ready to hear the whispered wish lists of children and grown-ups alike. After all, who says one is ever too old to tell Santa what’s on the wish list?

The imaginative window displays held various scene that kept us entranced- from The Wish Upon A Star and The Enchanted Workshop to The Christmas Train and The Heart of Christmas, each scene tells its own story, celebrating the joy of giving and togetherness.

The real fun, however, was watching little ones tug their parents toward the toy section, their eyes wide with excitement as they surveyed the tempting treasures on display. Nearby, happy shoppers were already armed with their gift lists, happily ticking off presents for family and friends while soaking up the festive atmosphere. With delightful discoveries around every corner, shopping became less of a chore and more of a celebration in itself.

As an added bonus, shoppers spending at least P25,000 in a single receipt can take home a limited-edition Rustan’s Bear commemorating the 75th anniversary. Families can also look forward to Santa Meet & Greets at selected stores.

More meaningful is the Angel Tree initiative, which turns children’s wishes into acts of kindness. This year, Rustan’s will support Servants of Charity in Metro Manila and Everlasting Hope in Cebu, treating beneficiaries to a special celebration and a meet-and-greet with Santa.

Seventy-five years of elegance and treasured memories deserve a celebration worthy of the occasion. And at Rustan’s, the loveliest gift of all remains the joy of making memories together.
