Gemini app launches shopping features in Philippines
MANILA, Philippines — Gemini, the flagship artificial intelligence (AI) model of Google, is providing a shopping update to app users in the Philippines.
Filipinos can now utilize shopping features on the Gemini app to search product listings, comparison tables, prices across the Internet, and locations to purchase items.
Asking Gemini a shopping-related question will result in an organized response that gathers details, such as price, reviews, and inventory information, as well as visual aid in a provided carousel.
The responses are tailored to the specific question and formatted for a user's needs. Comparison tables, meanwhile, give side-by-side views of considerations specific to a given product.
These new features are powered by the Shopping Graph, another AI data set by Google which carries over 60 billion product listings, two billion of which are updated every hour.
As such, fresh information and competitive selections will be provided for every inquiry entered.
