Celeste Cortesi's BF breaks silence on rumored split
MANILA, Philippines — Celeste Cortesi's techpreneur boyfriend, Jonathan Sterling, quipped about his reported millionaire status when he broke his silence on the rumored split between him and the beauty queen.
Sterling said in an Instagram post that he decided to return to social media to clarify the rumors circulating about his relationship with Celeste.
“There have been a lot of false allegations going around online and in the media about me recently, so l’d like to break my silence, come back on social media, and take a moment to correct the record: I am NOT a millionaire. I’m a billionaire," Sterling said.
“But seriously, if you want the full story, watch 'Celeste Unscripted' when it comes out later this year,” he added.
“Celeste Unscripted” is an eight-part docu-series about the life story of Miss Universe Philippines 2022.
Recently, the Filipina-Italian beauty queen spoke about her current relationship and set-up with Jonathan.
There was a rumor that she and Jonathan had broken up and the reason was said to be actress and another beauty queen, Binibining Pilipinas-Universe 2009 Bianca Manalo.
Celeste said that she and Jonathan are doing well and are now focused on preparing for the birth of their firstborn, whom they will name Sergio.
“Jonny and I are good. Our focus remains on caring for our child, Sergio, and supporting our family. I believe some situations call for greater consideration and respect, especially when a child and family are already involved," Celeste said.
“Our priority is our family, and that is where our time, energy, and attention will remain. With that said, people can now relax and focus on their own lives instead,” she added.
Meanwhile, Sparkle GMA Artist Center released a statement clearing the name of their talent, Bianca.
“On behalf of our Sparkle Artist, Bianca Manalo, we would like to clarify that there is no truth to rumors circulating about her involvement with another couple. She is single and not in any relationship.”
