Moira dela Torre breaches 1 billion Spotify streams
MANILA, Philippines — Kapamilya singer Moira dela Torre reached a new milestone in her career for reaching one billion streams on music platform Spotify.
In the Star Music Facebook account, the music label announced Moira's new career feat as the ABS-CBN record label thanked her for the music.
“Congratulations, Moira! Thank you for the music and we're excited to see and hear what's ahead. Thank you also to everyone who listened and shared her music,” Star Music wrote.
According to the music label, Moira’s top five most streamed tracks on Spotify are “Torete” with over 52 million streams, “Paubaya” with over 55 million streams, “Ikaw at Ako” with over 82 million streams, “Malaya” with over 85 million streams, and “Tagpuan” getting the top spot with over 94 million streams.
Apart from the billion streams, Moira is also hailed by Spotify as the Top Female Artist of 2021 in the Philippines.
She also remains as one of the Top Streamed OPM Artist for four consecutive years. Her albums "Patawad" and "Malaya" secured two spots in the DVD Philippines' Most Streamed Local Albums chart, while her single "Paubaya" is included in the DVD Top Tracks Philippines 2021 roll.
"Paubaya" is also noted in the DVD Tatak Pinoy Presents: Best OPM Songs of 2021 playlist, along with two more collaboration tracks, "Pasalubong" with Ben&Ben, and "Kahit Kunwari Man Lang" with Agsunta.
