MANILA, Philippines — Korean actor Lee Min Ho is set to return to the showbiz industry after completing his mandatory public service.

K-pop news site Soompi reported that Lee arrived on April 25 at the Suseo Social Welfare Center for his final day of work as a public service worker.

“Lee Min Ho will be discharged today, [April] 25. As announced previously, he will do so quietly without any special events,” Lee’s agency MYM Entertainment said.

Regarding his return as an actor, the talent agency declared: “He is reviewing several different projects.”

In its Facebook page, MYM Entertainment posted a congratulatory message for Lee for completing his mandatory service.

“Today, Lee Minho, an actor we've been waiting for a long time is coming back to us. Please continue showing your love and interest for him and he will say hello with a better look,” the agency wrote.

Lee started his mandatory service as a public service worker on May 2017. He was unable to serve as an active military soldier immediately due to injuries from past vehicular accidents.

He also completed four weeks of basic military training in March 2018.

The Korean actor is popular for his roles in TV series that were a hit in the Philippines. These include "Legend of the Blue Sea," "The Heirs," "City Hunter,” and “Boys Over Flowers," to name a few.
