DonKiss on doing 'Meteor Garden'
MANILA, Philippines — Kapamilya love team DonKiss, composed of Donny Pangilinan and Kisses Delavin, would be delighted to portray the roles of Dao Ming Si and Shan Cai if ABS-CBN should be the one to do a local version of “Meteor Garden.”
In separate interviews with Philstar.com, the “Playhouse” stars said they are ready to take part, if there will be an opportunity, in the “Asianovela” series.

“I would love to be Shan Cai kasi stable na ‘yan e. ‘Pag Shan Cai alam mong palaban na babae, cute, so I’m such a fan even though I haven’t seen the whole ‘Meteor Garden’,” Kisses said.
“I think na if ever I play the role, I would really give my best kasi it’s such a great role. Everybody in the industry, I think, wants that role,” she added.
She also said that her onscreen partner, Donny, is fit to do the role of the young millionaire bad boy Dao Ming Si.
“Yes, I think bagay kay Donny ‘yung Dao Ming Si na role,” she said.
Kisses is also wondering if the "Meteor Garden" characters would still retain their Chinese names in the Filipino version.
For his part, Donny said he is willing to portray the role if the offer comes.

“Wow. Hindi ko pa po alam e. Siguro ‘pag dumating na ‘yung offer,” he said.
Although not a fan of “Meteor Garden,” Donny said Kisses is fit for the role of Shan Cai: “Kahit sino kaya ni Kisses yan!” he assured.
