Iwa Moto on marriage with Pampi Lacson: 'Malabo pa yun'

MANILA, Philippines – They're happy with what they have now, said Iwa Moto of her relationship with Pampi Lacson.
However, the actress said marriage is still far from the horizon for her and Pampi
“Malabo pa yun, mahaba-habang usapan pa yun,†she said during the press conference for the grand finals of TV5's “Celebrity Dance Battle†on Tuesday, June 24.
Iwa is one of the five finalists of the Kapatid network dance show, along with former basketball player Gary David, beauty queen Priscilla Meirelles, actress Ciara Sotto and actor Rafa Siguion-Reyna.

Both Iwa and Pampi came from previous marriages; Iwa was married to Mickey Ablan while Pampi is the former husband of ABS-CBN actress Jodi Sta. Maria.
The former GMA-7 talent said she and Ablan are in the process of finalizing their annulment. As for Pampi, it was rumored that his marriage with Jodi was officially annulled last year.
“Ok lang yun basta pareho kami maging malaya kasi pare-pareho na kaming may sariling buhay,' Iwa said of the grueling process of having her marriage with Mickey annulled. “We deserve every bit of happiness we can have.â€
She added, “He has his own family and I have mine. So para sa akin, para lang matahimik na ang lahat at para everyone would be happy, yung truly happy talaga.â€
Iwa said of her relationship with Pampi: “Sa ngayon, masaya kami sa kung anong meron kami. Especially masaya kami dahil nakikita naming lumalaking maayos yung anak namin. Nakikita naming okay yung mga anak namin.â€
Pampi and Jodi have a son, Thirdy. Meanwhile, Pampi also have a daughter with Iwa named Hiromi Eve.
The 25-year-old actress said Thirdy and Eve get along very well. “Sobrang mahal ni Thirdy si Mimi,†she said.
“Lagi niyang binubuhat, lagi niyang pinapatawa. As in yung bonding nilang magkapatid. Iba si Thirdy one week nasa mom, one week nasa amin. Kapag bumabalik si Thirdy sa amin, grabe, parang hindi siya nakakalimutan nung bata,†Iwa explained.
As for her relationship with Jodi, Iwa said they're okay.
“I think wala naman kaming dapat pag-usapan. Syempre, everything's well na,†Iwa said when asked if she talks to Jodi. “Para huwag na lang din ma-isyu. Basta kami we're okay, we're doing our jobs—ako, as a step mom, siya as a mom.â€
Asked if she thinks she has found her happiness in life with Pami, Iwa said: “I hope so. Kasi I really don't like na magkaroon ng broken family yung anak ko.â€
“Celebrity Dance Battle†will air its finale on Saturday, June 28 on TV5.
