Jaclyn signs exclusive contract with GMA

MANILA, Philippines - GMA Network welcomed Jaclyn Jose as a Kapuso as she recently inked an exclusive two-year contract.

Also present in the contract signing were GMA chairman and CEO lawyer Felipe Gozon, GMA president and COO Gilberto Duavit Jr., GMA Films president lawyer Annette Gozon-Abrogar, GMA Entertainment TV OIC Lilybeth Rasonable, GMA VP  for Entertainment Marivin Arayata, GMA AVP for Alternative Productions Gigi Santiago-Lara, ETV program manager Charles Koo and Jaclyn’s manager Ed Instrella. 

Lawyer Gozon expressed his admiration and appreciation for the actress saying that, â€œtoday is very special because we signed Jaclyn Jose, isa sa mga magagaling na artista sa Pilipinas.”

Duavit, on the other hand, is pleased that Jaclyn chose to remain as a Kapuso, “hindi naman kaila na si Jaclyn ay one of the finest actresses in the country. Ang nakikita natin is great opportunities for Jaclyn and we’re very excited to have her.”

Rasonable shared that the network will continue to line up good projects and memorable characters for Jaclyn after her remarkable performance in the primetime drama Mundo Mo’y Akin, â€œmasarap ’yun feeling na yun nagtitiwala sa ’yo ay isang napakagaling at multi-awarded na artist. It’s a blessing to have Ms. Jaclyn in our stable of talents here in GMA. I’m sure she will give more memorable performances in her next soaps.”
