Movie premiere cum fashion show

Sampaguita stars led by Gloria Romero, Susan Roces and Gina Pareño participated in a fashion show held at Life Theater in 1965. The event was the premiere of Hamon sa Kampeon, 28th anniversary offering of the studio which had the most number of beautiful and elegant stars.

Then, premieres were mounted with glitz and glamour. Hamon sa Kampeon was a popular radio-TV singing contest hosted by Dely Magpayo and Pepe Pimentel.

Glo and Susan wore ternos, while Gina modeled a modern gown.      — RKC
