Pinoys in Rome

MANILA, Philippines - Tonight, Mel & Joey hosts Mel Tiangco and Joey de Leon step into Rome, Italy known as “the Birthplace of Romance.” On top of their itinerary is the St. Peter Basilica where they will spend an Angelus with the Pope.

Mel & Joey interviews expats Nilda de Castro, a lay minister at the Vatican, Romulo Sandoval and Charito Basa of the Roman Government office, singer Armand Carameng and Vatican Radio Filipino announcer Corazon San Jose. The hosts also talk to owners of Pinoy stores, the Kusina Restorante and Restorante Karisma.

Also featured is a tour of the world’s smallest city the Vatican and Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon and other Roman tourist attractions.
