Body Talk with Andi Manzano
She’s a Perfect 9 which is how she has been “judged” by fellow deejays Mojo Jojo and Mo Twister who are with her in Magic 89.9 FM, home of Mo’s controversial program Good Times with Mo Twister (Mondays thru Thursdays, starting at 6:30 a.m.) the Wednesday feature of which, called 40 Forbidden Questions, has been turning showbiz upside-down, topsy-turvy, because of the disturbing answers by star-guests on the hot seat.
Once, Andi “disappeared” from the show for four months because she was peeved by Mo’s “green” jokes on her, but she realized that it was all part and parcel of the trade, so...yes, just go with the flow!
Andi 9 is actually Andrea Manzano (her father is a second cousin of Edu Manzano, “But he doesn’t know me,” she hastens to add, “because the Manzanos are such a huge family; but I know his son Luis who is a VJ on MYX”), one of the three winners (the others were Kat Alano formerly of Wowowee and Jonathan “Sib” Sibulo) of the recent (2007) MTV VJ Hunt. An Arian (March 29), Andi stands 5’3”, weighs 105 lbs., measures 32-25-34, and wears medium-sized T-shirts (“I want them loose”) and size-8 shoes.
Funfare caught Andi working out at Gold’s Gym in Robinsons Galleria, one of the three outlets in Metro Manila of the workout place with 650 outlets around the world (members can avail of Gold’s Gym services in any of them). That afternoon, I saw Aubrey Miles and Mike Tan also sweating it out, two of the many stars who owe their bodies beautiful to Gold’s Gym.
