DBP extends credit line to cooperative
MANILA, Philippines - The Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) has extended a P20-million clean revolving credit line to Sta. Cruz Savings and Development Cooperative (SACDECO) under its Agricultural Credit Policy Council – DBP Cooperative Agricultural Lending Program Facility. Being one of the most progressive cooperatives in Region I, SACDECO can serve as DBP’s partner in financing the needs of micro-agricultural entrepreneurs like farmers and fisherfolk in northern Luzon. SACDECO’s primary area of operation covers the provinces of Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, and Pangasinan, with its head office located in Sta. Cruz, Ilocos Sur. It has six branches located at the towns of Santa and Santiago in Ilocos Sur; Bangar and Bacnotan in La Union; and Villasis and Asignan in Pangasinan.
