MANILA, Philippines — Human resource (HR) solutions provider Salarium has rolled out a touchless timekeeping and attendance solution to help businesses prevent the spread of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in the workplace.

Salarium founder and CEO Judah Hirsch said the solution called FacePass goes beyond providing facial recognition timekeeping.

Through FacePass which comes with a state-of-the-art device, S.A.F.E Tech (Secured Attendance and Face-Enabled Technology) employees would have to wear a face mask and have normal body temperature before their clock-ins could be accepted.

FacePass can accurately recognize an employee in seconds even with their face masks and face shields on.

In addition, an employee exceeding the normal body temperature will trigger FacePass’ alarm system.

Integrated into Salarium’s timekeeping system, FacePass allows HR staff to create, track, and manage shifts and schedules, as well as complete attendance reports.

FacePass likewise enables employees to access their records such as time and attendance, shift schedules and leaves through any mobile device.

“With the seamless integration of FacePass to Salarium, it’s the perfect timekeeping solution for any business as we move towards the new normal and beyond,” Hirsch said.

Salarium has seen strong demand for its time and attendance solutions from businesses implementing flexible working arrangements amid the pandemic.

“As we prepare ourselves for the new normal, we want to help companies create the safest and secure environment for their staff and at the same time adapt to the rapidly changing working set-ups,” he said.

Companies can avail of a FacePass subscription with a 24-month lease contract worth P5,000 every month per device and the Salarium time and attendance rate at P150 per month for every employee.

A company of more than 200 employees availing of FacePass will get a S.A.F.E.Tech device for free.
