Honda to open 5th dealership in Mindanao

MANILA, Philippines — Japanese automotive giant Honda Motor Co. Ltd. continues the expansion of its distribution network in the country, with a new dealership to rise next year in Mindanao.
Honda Cars Philippines Inc. (HCPI), broke ground recently for its 39th car dealership in the country and the fifth Honda car dealership in Mindanao.
The new dealership is located at Tagum City, Davao del Norte with a total lot size of 2,700 square meters.
“Honda’s goal is to serve the Filipino families of Mindanao in the best possible way we can. For Honda and our partners, customers are our top priority,” Louie Soriano, HCPI spokesperson and administration division head said.
HCPI said Honda Cars Tagum would offer Honda’s latest vehicle lineup as well as services of preventive maintenance, body and paint, and general repairs once its opens by the first quarter of 2019.
HCPI is ranked the fourth largest player in terms of sales in the Philippines as of end-April with a market share of 7.16 percent.
