Local spa chain putting up more branches

MANILA, Philippines - Filipino-owned Big Apple Express Spa is expanding its line of services and increasing the number of its branches to become a bigger player in the local spa market.

The company, which turns 10 years old on Oct. 18, aims to provide affordable wellness services to more customers in different parts of the country as it empowers more people to make massage therapy their source of living.

It is set to introduce an offering of P10 on all its massage services from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in all of its branches, said Roselin Pagunsan, one of the company’s founders.

Ten years ago, Big Apple Express Spa was a brainchild of four working professionals who  want to bring massage services accessible to everyone.

The full body service, priced at P299, is provided by well-trained massage therapists.

The first branch was in Robinsons Galleria followed by Gateway Mall where one of the clients took interest in the concept and later on opened the doors to franchising.

Big Apple Express Spa blazed the trail for the express spa segment of the market by offering relaxing, high-quality spa services in a clean and conducive environment.

“We elevated the “neighborhood spa” service concept to an entirely new level of quality and professionalism, highlighted by continuous training, product development, and facilities upkeep and improvement,” Pagunsan said.

Pagunsan disclosed  the company provide livelihood to almost 100 women mostly high school graduates to uplift their standard of living.

The company is now in partnership with different barangay captains to reach out to women who are willing to be trained and learn how to massage as their means of living.
