Thousands hired during eXP's 1st Jobs and Careers Fair

MANILA, Philippines -- One thousand out of the 2,000 jobseekers who troop down to the Trade Hall of Starmall in Mandaluyong City was hired during eXp’s first Jobs and Careers Fair.

Employers from call center, business process outsourcing, information technology, retail, manufacturing and local and overseas recruitment agencies conducted interviews, examinations and scheduled final interviews from May 15 to 16.

Highlights of the two-day event include seminars (“An Overview of the Call Center Industry”, “Top Job Hunting Tips” and “Corporate Dressing for Every Season”), a mini-fashion show featuring designers Mimi Ferrera and Yako Reyes and a raffle draw.

Rosette Macalinao, a jobseeker from Pasig City was picked as the lucky winner of the free vacation trip to Boracay. She also went home with a potential job offer as she got endorsed for final interview this week.

The event was organized by the Events Management Group of eXp Management, in partnership with Right Sources (www.rsi-ph.com), Starmall, Philstar.com, Careercare.com and Trabaho.com, DOLE and PESO.
