MGI All Stars announces 2nd edition, applications to start this June

MANILA, Philippines — Less than a week since concluding its inaugural competition, Miss Grand International (MGI) All Stars is already opening the doors for a second edition.
The star-studded contest saw pageant veterans aged 20 to 40 face off against one another, culminating in a win for Colombia's Vanessa Pulgarin — a past contestant on Miss International and Miss Universe.
The highest-placed Filipina was Miss Universe Philippines 2019 Gazini Ganados, who finished in the Top 5, followed by Miss International Queen 2022 winner Fuschia Anne Ravena, who exited in the Top 18.
Three other Filipinas — since the pageant allowed countries to enter multiple delegates — namely Imelda Schweighart, Alexia Nuñez and Keylyn Trajano were among the early cuts.
Just days after crowning Pulgarin, MGI All Stars announced a second edition was already in the development stage "due to overwhelming demand," with applications opening on June 6, Saturday.
"A new chapter is about to begin… are you ready to shine among the stars once again?" the pageant teased in a social media post.
Official MGI All Stars accounts were created to better distinguish themselves from the main MGI competition. Posts and images of the inaugural pageant were being posted on the latter's accounts.
Pulgarin is expected to compete again in order to defend her title. Details about the schedule will be announced at a later date.
